Snowy Ridge Outfitting LLC was founded in 2016 by Hazel Wirth and is a woman owned Colorado business and is a fully licensed and insured entity.

First, we would like to say to our conservative non hunting groups that we share your empathy towards the animals’ lives that are taken within our hunting offering. Our hunting focus is mostly on mountain lion hunts for the deer population and elk have diminished due to lack of lion population control.

Snowy Ridge Outfitting offers a unique lion hunters experience with exclusive access to over 20 miles of roads located in Littleton front range on privately family-owned property, Colorado State owned land leases, neighboring ranch, and private participating landowners.

In Hazels early pre-2020 lion hunt ventures the dogs were provided and hunts were booked by other entities that did not cater so much to the hunter’s needs. Eventually obtaining her own dogs and equipment to navigate the property through all snow conditions.

In her first committed year- spring of 2022 Hazel and her group took (3) lions within a 30-day span and a 176 lb. Tom the first snow in the fall of 2022.

Her dogs are proven to be some of the best in Colorado and came from experienced lion hunters from Utah and Montana.

Hazel challenges any other hunters’ dogs to a better performance record.
